Official Solution & Explanation:
Correct Answer: Option D(अर्थशास्त्र)
Arthashastra allows the divorce of a wife deserted by her husband. Divorce was prevalent in the Mauryan period. Wife had the right to divorce on the basis of the long abroad stay of her husband and being physically handicapped. Similarly, husband also had the right to leave his wife for being barren or adulteress.
