मूल अधिनियम (संशोधन से पूर्व) के अनुसार सदस्य 5 वर्ष की दूसरी अवधि के लिए पुनर्नियुक्ति का पात्र था, अतः कथन (c) सही नहीं था। वर्ष 2019 के संशोधन के बाद कार्यकाल घटाकर 3 वर्ष (या 70 वर्ष की आयु तक) कर दिया गया है तथा अध्यक्ष एवं सदस्य दोनों ही पुनर्नियुक्ति के पात्र हैं। पद से हटने के बाद वे भारत सरकार या राज्य सरकार के अधीन किसी और नियोजन के पात्र नहीं होते। (म.प्र. लोक सेवा आयोग ने मूल्यांकन में इस प्रश्न को विलोपित/सभी को अंक दिया था क्योंकि 2019 संशोधन के बाद a, b और c तीनों बदल गए हैं)।
